I just recently purchased this set for my 4 month old son, Mason. He's moving to his own room and we wanted something that was a good quality and appropriate for a little baby boy, but could still grow with him into his toddler years. This was perfect for that. I ordered it at a very reasonable price and despite the shipping estimate date(March 17th) it actually came on the 10th of February! It is so nicely made, and the colors are bold and bright. The contrasting shapes are wonderful for the little babies to look at, and the set looks wonderful against any wall color. I would highly recommend it for a little boy. I bought this bedding set for my daughter, even after reading the bad reviews. Yes this is dry clean or at least that is what the tag says. I however had nothing to loose so I washed them in warm water I did not dry them in the dryer though. I hung them up to dry. I didn't have a single issue with any of the pieces laundering them like that. I do agree what were they thinking making a nursery set dry clean only, that just boggles my mind. But they can be washed (not sure about the dryer though). However it's a beautiful bed set (it does have an asian vibe) but you can decorate the room in anyway to get the look you want. This is an absolutely gorgeous set, very happy with quality and appearance. Sheet is a little tight on the mattress, but my mattress is slightly larger than non-standard (about an inch larger all round). Bumper fits very tightly around the crib leaving virtually no space to get so much as a finger trapped. Only complaint was that the set is packed SO tightly in the bag that the sheet and ruffle were unbelievably crunched up and it took a couple of washings and ironings to get the creases out. Otherwise it's a lovely set, great for a boy or girl and goes with many different color schemes. I had ordered a similar set in both color and price, but found this one to be more vibrant and softer than the JJ Cole set I purchased at Target.com.

I gave this set 4-stars for a couple of reasons: I would have prefered it offered as a four piece set (bumper, quilt, sheet, skirt) because I won't use the 1 window valance or diaper holder the six piece set came with. I wish I had the option. Secondly, the set as pictured, looks white, but it is definitely cream. I would have liked more details in the discription.

Overall, for quality and impression upon arrival, I would have given it 5-stars. It's modern looking with a touch of baby and more affordable than what I've been looking through on other websites when searching for more modern crib sets.

This set is so much better in person than on the pictures! Also, Amazon's price is a lot better than you'll find anywhere else, and I recieved it in less than 3 days! The colors are so much more vivid in person, and it is absolutely perfect for baby boy's nursery. We can't wait to paint - and this one has so many colors, it's easy to find one that will work on your walls. The materials seem to be good quality as well. We typically only buy 800-1000 thread count sheets...obviously we weren't going to get anything that nice for baby to make a "mess" on, but the sheets feel very nice and are pretty thick - not like the cheaper sets you typically find in a 6-piece ensemble.

My only complaint, which is strictly personal, is the window valance is better suited for a larger or double window than the one in our nursery. We have a single window, and the valance is too long so it hangs funny. I'm sure we can find a way to fix it though.

Saw this at BuyBuy's but they didn't have it in stock! I've looked at tons of crib sets before choosing this one and I gots to say I LOVESIT!!!
This design goes perfectly well for us...it isn't too plain, tacky/distracting, gendered as most sets tend to be.
We use a natural color wood crib rather than a dark one like mahogany b/c of the all the brown in the set anyway...gets to be a bit clashy.

If you're into the whole Ikea/clean lines motif then this will def fit into that.
Unlike the other reviewer, I set the washer to normal/warm and half-dried it to 'low' and the other half 'high'. Just to break it in a bit more...

I purchased everything except for the overpriced lamp or the wall decals and the addt'l window valance (you get one if you buy the crib set-which i don't use).
One last bit, the creamy sides (sides with the animal faces) of the bumper and the blanket is plush..on the other side you get the brown color with the colorful polka dots..
