The Organic factor was a consideration, but one has to know that this set is far too inexpensive to be truly organic. The only complaint is that when we washed and dried the bumper, the top edge of the bumper was rather "pilly", but you can easily remove it yourself by hand. I'm no scientist, but it's probably better to get conventional cotton as long as it's 100% cotton, rather than this polyester blend, which may have been treated with formaldehyde or some other industrial chemical. Great price for all items you get! The only thing that I didn't like was, the green gingham. In the picture it looks a lot lighter and softer. It seems to be a little too dark for the toile part. To fix my problem, I went to the fabric store and got a soft green color and just sewed it right on top. I didn't do it to all the gingham, but I did the blanket, skirt, diaper stacker. I wanted to leave some cause the mobile has the same gingham and i still wanted everything to match. We havent used this on our new baby yet but we have put our 2 almost 3yr old daughter in it and it seemed to hold up just fine, while she was jumping in it.
