I didn't know the sex of my baby so I chose the froggy theme for the nursery. My daughter was born 4/12/06 and I am very pleased with the colors of this bedding. I have added some pink accents to make it a little more feminine. I bought some full pink curtains from Target that look really nice. I have to say I love this set. I bought it in August and my son was born Christmas Eve. I had no trouble with washing any part of this set. I ironed the bed sheet and the valance which both ironed just fine. I ordered the diaper genie cover and the hamper. I also bought some other things from other lines to make my room complete. I am very happy that I found this because when I was pregnant I did not know what I was having. So this set works for both a boy or a girl. My next purchase will be the rocker when he gets a little bigger. People visit me all the time and when I show them his room they always say this room looks like something out of a magazine. The only thing I wish they had was a full curtain. I bought this for my little boy. It's adorable in person. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because when you wash it, the chenile part of the ensemble creates little balls even washing it in gentle cycle. I really loved this pattern when I saw it in the store, and was disappointed that it came in a giant, expensive 6 piece set - who really uses a diaper stacker anyway? I found a 3 piece version of the same set at JCPenney, and would recommend that instead: you get the quilt, bumper, and sheet, and you can then buy/register for extra sheets and accessories at Babies R Us.

It is really a cute set, and works very well for either gender, so you can use it for multiple kids. It's held up pretty well for the three months we've used it so far. I would just recommend getting the cheaper set instead.

I bought a Lambs & Ivy Dream Teddy six-piece crib set (exactly like this one but a different pattern) a while back. Today I washed it because we're working on our nursery. I read the instructions on all the pieces carefully. I did not wash
the diaper stacker. Each piece states to "machine wash cold; tumble dry low." I washed the quilt, bumper, fitted sheet, valance, and bed skirt on cold delicate. I did not dry the quilt or bumper because I was afraid of the stuffing bunching - I laid them flat to dry, but depsite this the bumper still bunched in one place and now doesn't want to fit correctly.

I dried the fitted sheet, valance, and bed skirt on cool heat for a short time. The valance and fitted sheet came out very wrinkled. After 15 minutes of ironing the valance is still wrinkled. The fitted sheet was nearly impossible to iron. I was thinking to myself, how can I go through this each week when I wash it? It's baby bedding, for heaven's sakes. How can it wash this poorly? I have a couple of replacement Koala baby sheets, and they washed and dried wonderfully, no wrinkles. This sheet, on the other hand, is part of an expensive set, and it won't iron out.

But wait...I'm saving the best for last. The best skirt bunched in the middle; the mesh material melted in the drier and stuck together. When I tried to pull it apart, it tore!!! I'm so mad -you can't buy this skirt separately, and I paid a lot for the set.

I'm going to call the manufacturer tomorrow. I'm absolutely furious - what a huge waste of money!

This bedding is so soft and beautiful when you see it in person. It's much more green/yellow than the picture. Look at the customer images to get a better feel for how it really looks. It's a very neutral set that we chose for our little girl's room. Lots of accessories to go with it. My only complaint is that the bumper only has top ties. Sage and Yellow color sheets also go beautifuly with it when you are shopping for additional sheets. I highly recommend it for a boy or girls room. I love this bedding. My babies nursery is just beautiful with it. Kepp in mind though when you get the 6 piece set that you don't use the quilt for your baby because of SIDS so it is just decorative. Hello. I love this bedding. I bought this bedding for my son. It is so universal. It is really soft. It's not too much boy or girl so it really works out. It was really reasonable priced. The only problem I'm having is finding curtins I like to go with the bedding, I really do not like the small valance due to the cold months. But I would recommend this to anyone, you have so many choices you could paint your room depending on the sex of your child, yellow, light green or a blue. So it really works.
